The texture is like a lightweight serum. As the name suggests, I use at night after a serum and before a moisturizer. I mainly use this ampoule as a preventative anti-aging step, since I only have a few fine lines around my eyes. So I can't say if it works on deep wrinkles, age spots, etc..
