Watery texture like all skin 1004 products, but much weaker hydration levels (even when double layering this product) compared to other more oil/milky textured hydrating serums/essences. Has a half old style perfume scent, half perfume scent that I associate with baby books (which spray the cloth parts of interactive books with some sort of light, subtly sweet, and overall gentle coziness). Personally I would've preferred a completely different scent, but I eventually was able to completely ignore the smell after a month..
