The original version of this cleansing balm was the first cleansing balm I tried. It’s a good first step cleanser for removing most makeup. I find most cleansing balms do not remove eye makeup as well as cleansing oils, I usually have to go in with another eye makeup remover to get off eyeshadow and eyeliner. The mandarin orange scent of this balm makes the cleansing experience very enjoyable. I use this balm on days that I don’t wear much eye makeup.

Removes all makeup |

I like how it melts into the skin, changing from a balm to an oil. I used this in PM only as part of my double-cleansing routine. I thought it did a good job of removing my tube mascara without stinging the eyes.
This is a nice cleanser, very easy to wash off, & does not leave a greasy/oily film after using. I like the scent and it does a great job removing all makeup and did not irritate or strip my skin. I’ll continue using it but I do prefer the original version because this version has added fragrance, several essential oils (citrus and lavender) plus Shea butter which can be irritating to some skin types
