It does provide a light tone up. I like mixing it with my roundlab sunscreen as it provides a light tint. By itself it can have a very big difference

This tone up sunscreen does not make my t-zone oily/shiny even in warmer temperatures, but it does provide a nice moisturizing glow. So far I have had no breakouts from it or allergic reaction. Skin feels silky and protected. Some people might not be happy with the white cast this leaves, but this is a TONE UP sunscreen. It's function is to give you a brighter complexion, and it does just that. This also has a light scent to it, in case those of your who are sensitive to scented things might want to know. Overall, I'm happy with sunscreen! I bought 5 bottles LOL
