This essence is pretty watery, but there are skin conditioning ingredients such as allantoin that give this product a silky texture. The licorice extract is great for its antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties, making this product suitable for sensitive or acne-prone skin like mine. I’ve been using this in place of my normal toner.

The first impression that I got from this is that the smell is like something you know the smell of the forest? I don't know it's just smell like that... But you know the ingredients has licorice and hyaluronic acid which is so amazing for Hydrating the skin plus it has brightening ingredient which is licorice extract which is beneficial for pigmentation and dull skin. It's so light and you can layer this multiple times without the heavy and sticky feeling.

This is lovely! I love the nutty fragrance! It is really light and calming. Especially during the Chinese New Year festive period, I had this acne breakout and using this was so soothing and my skin drank it all up!
