The shade that matches my skin tone is 23 if I want a subtle toned-up look and 21 if I want a warmer look. Mixing the two shades is the best match for my skin tone. Upon application, it blends nicely onto my skin and blurs the appearance of my post-acne hyperpigmentation. If you want a subtle finish, use your fingers for blending or a damp beauty blender. Use a makeup brush to maximize the coverage. Also, I use the darker shades as contour shades. My skin was on the drier side when I tested this, hence why I suggest wearing hydrating sunscreen underneath, as it clung onto my dry patches. When my skin is hydrated this sits nicely on my skin while giving a semi-satin finish. I did not have issues or any form of irritation while using these.
