Use this directly on to the face due to its quick-absorbing formula. The ampule has little to no smell. As this is a fast-absorbing, lightweight ampule, there was no greasiness or tacky feeling. My skin felt smooth and well hydrated leaving it with a nice subtle healthy glow.
