i liked this serum because i felt like it did brighten my skin and fade away from scars. i didn't use it consistently enough to know for sure though. i remember seeing a brightening effect the next morning when i first started to use this product. If you have really sensitive skin, it might burn (it burned a little for me, but only at first and went away so it was bearable). i stored mine in the refrigerator after opening. overall, affordable product and i liked it!
