I was thoroughly disappointed with this product. I got it for the hype it got for the anti aging properties so I decided to try it out.
1. The first time I used it I noted an overwhelming ginger-y smell. Which I wasn't a big fan of.
2. Fine, it smells bad. I put it on my face, and it feels like I just put a large amount of grease, not a moisturizer. My skin was so oily and so shiny after application and it felt heavy on my skin despite still feeling dry and needing moisture.
3. I started to use thicker serums to try and compensate for this being a not-so-good moisturizer. Resulted in more shine with little benefit. I started increasing the amount of sleeping mask during the night to maintain moisture.
4. The breaking point for me was when my skin was peeling around my mouth due to dryness. Then I knew this thing is absolutely not working for my skin.
5. I let my younger sister (early 20s) try it, and she wasn't a fan of it either.
6. No anti-aging benefits noted.
