This cream feels nice, thick but not heavy, easy to spread. It feels like it absorbs quickly but provides moisture that lasts. I love that it doesn't have Shea butter in it, I really need to improve my skin barrier but I also have dry/combination acne prone skin and shea butter can worsen acne for some. I feel like I'm almost always fighting redness/breakouts, and the cold weather is making my skin more dry. I've even started using it on my dry hands and parts of my body that have begun having eczema (atopic dermatitis). I have had no adverse reactions, and my skin feels moisturized enough to not be itchy an hour later, and less red in the morning. I really like this product, but it is pricey.
