This cream is a gentle non-irritating Retinol cream. It's made to be gentle enough for first time retinol users. This product is designed to help fight early signs of aging. For myself, it firms and smooths the fine lines on my face. I've noticed that it has lightened the dark spots and hyperpigmentation on my forehead. I haven't had any breakouts while using this cream. My skin is hydrated and glowing.

I am loving this retinol cream because it's super gentle it doesn't irritate the skin at all it contains vitamin E plus panthenol. This retinol feels really moisturizing because of the panthenol my skin feels really moisturized and super glowy after I use it. Retinol is good for fine lines wrinkles for a more youthful looking skin you know it helps with cell turnover so retinol is a must if you want healthy glowing looking skin.

What I love about retinol is that it fights acne and prevents skin aging. This light cream does both. The issue with retinol is that it can be very dry. To prevent this COSRX combines Vitamin E and Panthenol in this cream, to keep skin moist. I like to use this at night, twice a week, and it really does its job in banishing any acne, while brightening my skin. Very good retinol formula.

[Honest Review] Best beginner retinol |

The COSRX Retinol 0.1 cream is a great beginner retinol. Within 2 weeks of consistent of application (I use it about 3-4 nights a week), my skin texture has improved noticeably. After about 2-3 months of use there is a purge period where you'll experience an influx of pimples, however, the results are well worth it. Skin discoloration, pimples, texture went away after the purge period and this is the product to thank for that. I would encourage people new to retinol to use this about 2-3 times during the night ONLY for the first week then work your way up to 3-4 times a night per week. The only downside is that this has a pretty strong sulfur smell, but after 5-10 minutes it fades away and I can't smell it anymore. As always, don't use this product during the same routine you use other actives. Great product at an affordable price. Will buy again!
