I’ve been using the Medicube Balm Stick for a bit now and honestly, it’s become one of those “keep in my bag at all times” kind of products. The packaging is super simple and travel-friendly, like a slim deodorant stick, so it’s really easy to carry around and use whenever my skin feels dry.
Texture-wise, it glides on smoothly and melts a bit on contact with skin. I like that I don’t have to use my fingers, especially when I’m out. It feels a bit waxy if you over-apply, so a light swipe is definitely enough.
For hydration, it’s more of a quick fix than deep moisture. It works really well on dry patches around my nose and mouth, and it instantly makes my skin look smoother. Over makeup, it can work if you gently tap it on, but rubbing will mess up your base a little.
Overall, it’s not a heavy moisturizer, but more like a convenient on-the-go skin saver. I reach for it most during the day when my skin feels tight.
