A small amount is enough to cover redness and even out my complexion, so I prefer building it up rather than applying too much at once. It wears well through the day and leaves my skin looking polished without feeling heavy. The main downside is that the coverage can look a little too much if over-applied, but using a light tapping motion fixes that
